A Spanish Summer Wedding at A Velha Fábrica, Cáceres.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Sierra de Gata mountains, Janire and Alberto's wedding at A Velha Fábrica in Valverde del Fresno, Cáceres was a true celebration of love, history, and connection.

We were moved by their story, growing up just villages apart, then reconnecting as adults, they choose to return to their beautiful corner of Extremadura, Spain to say "I do."

The wedding was held at a former textile factory lovingly converted into a boutique hotel, their summer wedding was full of heart and authenticity as friends and family from all over Spain gathered to share heart felt words. There was not a dry eye to be seen. Under a shaded canopy and with iced lemon water in hand, we witnessed a deeply emotional ceremony against the breathtaking backdrop of Sierra de Gata mountains.

It was one of those golden Spanish summer days where everything feels vibrant, alive and fizzing with excitement. After the ceremony, cocktail hour unfolded on the terrace with traditional Spanish tapas and freshly sliced jamón ibérico, just as the couple had envisioned.
